Children's Ministries
At First Alliance, we want to grow passionate followers of Christ of all ages. During the school year, we offer Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. for children, Pre-K through 5th grade. Our Sunday School curriculum is entitled HeartShaper, published by Standard Publishing. HeartShaper introduces children to God, His Son, His Word, and His Church through active participation in Bible stories and Bible study, multi-sensory learning, Bible skill-building activities, and focused life application. In addition, we provide nursery care year round for infants and toddlers during both Sunday morning worship services. Throughout the school year, Pre-K and Kindergarten children also may participate in “Children’s Church” during the sermon at the 11:00 a.m. service. Children’s Church provides an interactive, kid-friendly environment to reinforce lessons introduced in Sunday School.
Every summer, we offer a week-long Vacation Bible School to disciple our kids and reach out to families in our community. We also provide age-appropriate service and missions projects to help children and their families engage with God’s heart for our neighbors across the street and around the globe.
